Entra ID Sync
If your organisation uses Entra ID, you can synchronize users and groups for use in Theta Assist.
This is a system admin feature. Contact support to enable.
How to configure synchronization settings
- Log in to Theta Assist as a system admin
- Navigate to Admin > Entra ID Sync and link your Entra ID account.
- Complete the configuration steps according to your preferences (e.g. sync frequency, excluded user types, etc)
- Click Manage Group Selection to select specific groups to synchronize.
- Only users who are members of the selected groups will be synced.
- If no groups are selected, no users will be synced.
Benefits of synchronization
- Synchronization using Entra ID is a quick and easy way to keep your Theta Assist users aligned with your staff list, or with specific groups within your organisation.
- Groups make it easy to share assistants and threads with a specific group of people
- You can also assign roles to groups. For example, you may have an integration team, and assign them the role of Assistant MCP Editor.
